Gorumara National Park

It is the wilderness that is a popular National Park to see several wildlife varieties that it preserves. There are Jeep Safaris that you can take to explore the best of this National Park. It is quite rich in greenery too and consists of Sal, Shimul and Bamboo groves. Some of the popular wildlife seen here are the Bison, elephant, one-horned rhinos, leopards, deer, wild boars, snakes including python and king cobra etc.

Chapramari

It is an extension of the Gorumara which is divided by the Murti River. This side of the river is also rich in unending depth of greenery and is also a peaceful hamlet that provides a soothing essence to your soul. The Wildlife here is also very varied due to the maintenance of this Sanctuary in the best Natural form.

It is one of the tourism offerings from Dooars that adds quite a charm to its overall tourism status. It is located at a distance of about 1 hr 20 min away from Murti and you can take an Elephant safari here to see the variety of wildlife like the bison, Gaurs (bison), different types of deer etc. Tigers and leopards can be spotted occasionally. You can also opt for a Jeep safari at Jaldapara, which is an absolute treat.

Chilapata

There are three main safari locations in the forest of Chilapata that you must know of. The Central Cord, ruins of the Nal King and Mendabari forest area. It is suitable for safari through the forest due to numerous routes within it. People don't know that the forest is a continuation of Jaldapara that is separated by the Torsa River. Sighting of Indian Bison (Gaur), Elephant, Rhino and various types of Deer is most common here. The forests are also known to be home for a variety of fauna.

It is the gem of a reservoir of Wildlife specially Tigers and has the second most population of Tigers after Sunderbans. Tiger preservation has been done here very effectively and is a popular reserve among domestic Tourists. You can also spot other wildlife here like the elephants, Indian bison, leopards, many types of deer, snakes etc. The entry to the forest is from a place called Rajabhatkhawa which is about 1 hour drive from Jaldapara towards east.
